Mario Alcoriza

Mario Alcoriza's passion for theater and performing arts began in college when he joined a choir to secure a scholarship. This sparked a love for performing, leading him to compete in choir festivals, take on solo performances, and explore musical theater. Since 2018, he has been a baritone with Voice of Cebu Chorale (VOX) performing in and out of Cebu. And in 2023, he made his music theatre debut as one of the Wickershams, in 2TinCans Philippines' production of Seussical the Musical. 

Mario recently starred as Mark, one of the lead roles in The Callback, showcasing his depth as an actor. In addition to his on-stage work, he has contributed behind the scenes in stage management, technical support, and front-of-house operations. He was part of the production team for SPIT Manila's "Bai Manila! Hello Cebu" and recently worked on 2TinCans Philippines' The Vagina Monologues as Front-of-House. Currently, he has also stepped up as the Conductor of the One-Day Ensemble, further expanding his artistic career.

In addition to his theater and choir credits, Mario has recently released the song, Malay Ko, now streaming on Spotify. He continues to expand his artistic horizons, taking on new challenges with passion and dedication. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, he remains committed to the art and creating meaningful performances.
