Sarah is an ARTIVIST. She's discovered her love for the theatre arts and the empowerment of women and girls at a very young age, and through these combined passions, she founded 2TinCans Philippines, Inc., Cebu's premier theatre communications company, which delivers top-of-the-line, transformational, and socially-relevant experiences that effectively communicate advocacies, brands, and campaigns.
At the age of 20, she designed and implemented a theatre training program for the abused and exploited children from the impoverished areas in Pasil, Duljo Fatima, Sawang Calera in Cebu City, and in Looc, Mandaue City. Since then, she has organized various campaigns and community-based programs, including V-Day Cebu: Worldwide Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Girls; USAID’s Blue Heart Campaign to End Trafficking Against Women and Girls; IsraAID’s Theatre Training Program for a Community-Based Awareness Campaign on Human Trafficking and Gender-Based Violence; Theatre Training for Children in Conflict with the Law in Mandaue City and Lilo-an, and; HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign. For the over two decades, Sarah has helped organizations and businesses design, create, and implement corporate social responsibility programs and advocacy initiatives, bridging the gap amongst artists, corporations, NGOs, LGU’s, national agencies, and local beneficiaries.
As a producer, director, theatre educator, and creative entrepreneur, Sarah believes that every endeavor must be driven by passion, purpose, and perseverance.
